Great setting, with away road car parking, between Teluk Bahang and Balik Pulau (nearer to the latter). Laksa has been excellent and at an acceptable 5 MYR.

Penang, Malaysia established fact for its sights, noises and culinary miracles. This wonderfully quaint location hides a Cuisine genius by the title of "Uncle" Eric (Uncle, being truly a expression of endearment for the slightly elderly). We have been spoilt for selection as any pick out you makefrom the menu, be it, local or even western cuisines, your palate somehow senses the miracle of Chef Eric's subtle touches that explodes with culinary delights. If doubtful of what things to choose, I would recommend that you put your center, taste and option in Chef Eric as possible feel his interest from just how he describes his meals and the great outcome is certainly worth the experience in this little location tuck apart in this big huge world of really excellent food. Usually do not miss conference and tasting Chef Eric's masterpieces!!!!

This cute little restaurant serves excellent cuisine. Either contact ahead or be amazed as chef Eric adjustments the menu based on the freshest accessible. We already got a seafood lunch time at Pulau Betong but couldn't withstand the sakted egg lamb loin....this tempted us furtherto order th seared fish! The four folks still managed a good heavy mango smoothie between us! I really like discovering new areas to hangout which place definitely suit you perfectly. The home sits at a very corner of the street between Balik Pulau and Teluk Bahang. Lunch time is served daily. Celebrations of 12 could make special plans for a dinner jointly. This is served in an atmosphere conditioned annex to the primary house....so zero mozzies and othermany legged bities although you can enjoy it on the list of chirping of crickets and different bird calls. Unfortunately there is no overnight accommodation which means you have a 30+ minute get back to Georgetown. We was told by way of a friend that this eating place initially started with assam laksa...but still does! I am getting excited about going back to use this!

Come here once and for all food, cozy atmosphere from the busyness of the town, surrounded naturally, and the attempt the enjoyable fascinating fusion menu. Likely to come here again. Open weekends only

My pal who lives in the island brought me here for a sit down elsewhere before we visited the nutmeg farm. Center of Nowhere is strictly that. This is a durian fruit farm with a lovely property. They have interior seating and a protected patio. It is rather clean, comfortable, and contains a restroom. The proprietors and their doggy (Mozzarella) have become friendly and the espresso is great. The dog is among the cutest and friendliest domestic pets I've ever met.

We tried the Assam Laksa and Hainanese Poultry Chop. Both are amazing. Laksa is well balanced: not really too sour, not as well oily rather than too salty. I simply say it is the best I've had. Hainanese Poultry Chop will be succulent inside and properly grilled outside. Sauceisn't the normal ketchup-base. Highly recommended! Coffee is solid, strong and fragrant - the rare treat for espresso lovers. private party location, that is definitely a have to- try. Not merely you get plenty of creativeness in the menu, additionally, you will get excellent hospitality. Ambience can be one-of-a-kind. It'll be a memorable visit.

Visited today after listening to that delightful hosts Eric and Pat experienced revived this wonderful spot and the Assam Laksa had been even better than We remembered it. Its no exaggeration to state that their Laksa is really a gourmet experience - undoubtedly the very best onthe island. And today gleam top quality Gaggia device turning out delicious espresso. Daily specials for major courses too. The owners have invested considerable time, money and effort in upgrading the center of Nowhere right into a destination really worth a commute through the jungle (with great sights of the coast). Just open 10am to 5pm about Saturday & Sunday. I'm going to be back next week.

this place also referred to as eric's place.. previously just market laksa and homemade beverages like nutmeg.. lately changed the restaurant style to cafe and laksa isn't available every day.. in accordance with menu of your day.. that they had hokkien prawn mee when i proceeded to go.. rm18per plate.. huge 4 prawns.. taste really was enjoyable.. worthwhile but orange juice, apple company juice will be rm7 for a little cup.. abit expensive personally i think.. in addition they serve western foods and various kinds of coffee..

I rarely feel the trouble of ranking venues but this location truly in the "center of nowhere" was an urgent delight. The hosts Eric and Pat take this idea to some other level. Their enthusiasm for meals and friendliness produced this a genuine highlight ofour Penang vacation. If you're searching for terrific coffee search no further. I would recommend their filthy chai latte, it had been an ideal finish to a good meal. This place is really worth the visit if you are in Penang. My nine yr old boy...our toughest small critic, furthermore gave this place an enormous thumbs up!
