Soft crust pizza near Sugai Buloh.
Pineapples on pizza or not, let’s stop debating on it. We found a perfect roadside pizza kiosk in Sungai Buloh that enables you to customize your pizza based on your desires. Be it the existence of pineapples on your pizza or wanting to try 2 different flavours on one pizza, they’ve got you covered.
Wadis Gusto is located Jalan Kundang, Sungai Buloh. It operates for customers who want to take away their food. This is because the store is set up in a small lot with very little space to provide any seating. That makes this store a haven for rushing customers who are hungry but need to be elsewhere. Besides takeaway orders, Wadis Gusto also takes in pizza delivery orders via GrabFood and ShopeeFood. Hungry but lazy to go out? You know exactly what to do.
Apart from being friendly and helpful with the choice of menu, Mr. Budiman, the store owner, knew what he was doing in preparing the pizza. It only takes him approximately 7 minutes to prepare a delicious pizza on the above stove under high fire.
My colleague Afifi and I wanted to try two of their best-selling pizzas. When asked, Mr. Budiman suggested we customize one pizza with 2 different flavours. Their best-selling pizzas are the Hawaiian Chicken Pizza (RM20) and Beef Pepperoni Pizza (RM20). The dough used for the pizza is handmade by the owner, making the pizza crust fluffy and easy to chew on. On the other hand, the Hawaiian Chicken Pizza had a fantastic mix of earthy and tropical flavoured tastes given by the mushrooms and pineapple included in the pizza. The owner was also generous with the amount of cheese on the pizza. The other half, the Beef Pepperoni pizza, had an interesting smoky taste given by the pepperoni itself, which matched amazingly with some well-sliced and fresh green pepper. To balance out the smoky flavour provided by the pepperoni, Mr. Budiman used some delicious tomato sauce. When asked about it, he mysteriously indicated it was a secret sauce. Well, don’t we all love a mystery?
We also tried their Fresh Milk Brown Sugar Tea (RM5) and Lotus Biscoff drink (RM6.90). To stay in trend, boba is also added to the drinks. They were warm and soft, as if they were freshly made. It did not take much effort to munch on them compared to the ones from other boba-serving outlets. Every bite taken was deliciously sweet and soft, like the texture of gummy bears. The Lotus Biscoff drink is a 7 out of 10. The mild sweetness and the crunchy Biscoff bits tasted gracefully tasty with every sip you took. But be warned, if you do not consider yourself a sweet tooth, the Biscoff flavour may get a little queasy for you after a while. If that’s the case, we recommend you get the Fresh Milk Brown Sugar Tea. We would rate it 8 out of 10. Although it was a little sweeter than the Biscoff, it doesn’t make you feel as queasy as the Lotus Biscoff drink. Overall, the drinks there are also tasty and not to mention cheap!
Overall, they have good food for the price and an extensive menu option to choose from. Suppose you want something different from what we have already tried. In that case, you can have their Cheesy Beef Meatball & Seafood Aloha Pizza along with their Chicken Corndog and Meatball Set.
To conclude it all,
