We were all amazed at how fantastic this developing looks. The framework itself is in good condition & the initial staircases are very. The wood looks wonderful. Decor comprising pictures including a lot of Dr. Mahathir are usually wonderfully arranged & clearly enhance the overallambiance. Easy to understand why this restaurant & cafe earned the World's Greatest Heritage Building. It truly is in great situation & it's obvious much function has got them up to now. Cappuccinos & a Macha Lemonade had been great & effectively served. We'll stay in again if the opportunity present itself.

So far we're able to see presently there was not really much changed since our very last visit twoo years back. The cafe appears cosy and stylish, the terrace is really a nice spot to sit for just a little food, snack or perhaps a coffee. The espresso is nice, othercompositions like a Thai tea, cheese cake with glowing blue berries and watermelon beverage didn't achieve at all of the level we wished for. The Thai tea has been much to milky and nice, the cheescake to dried out and contained insufficient blue berries. The costs are very higher for Alor Setar and you can find too many but pleasant waiters. The restaurant acts furthermore burgers with fries. We shall not keep coming back here, it generally does not reach our regular but young people appears to appreciate the area.

It is originally the colonial building that has been restored right into a trendy cafe. Most its patron are teenagers but it can be suitable for older masses and family. The inside decoration is tastefully carried out. The walls have photos of "who's who" who frequentedthe cafe. In addition, it includes a room on the initial floor that's dedicated in memory space of Tunku Abdul Rahman. I also like the fact there are some details or background of the cafe and in addition factual statements about Tunku Abdul Rahman which were displayed on differing of the wall space at the cafe. Besides, I really like it that the meals is known as in Malay and that provides the food a particular special experience them. For example, rather than spaghetti carbonara, it really is referred to as Mee Orang Puteh. Just what a clever idea! Nevertheless, Personally i think that there are way too many waiters there (though all are friendly that is also an advantage point). A unforgettable cafe, I'd say

Getting visited this cafe upon several occasions, I usually found the staff in order to be helpful and engaging but also for some reason the orders were never shipped in due time as you would expect when going to the cafe. Noticeable that there have been morestaff on to the floor than patrons sometimes but delivery of drink and food from enough time the order is positioned to when it's delivered is questionable...... We would await coffee for approx quarter-hour that is fine but meals was usually late. On two events we waited over forty-five minutes before we made a decision to do get away's once we had other company to attend to. This is after several reminders to personnel that people were waiting on foods. A nice cafe situated in a prime area but inadequate customer service.

We tried several main training course and deserts, everything was wonderful. Loved the iced Coconut Latte since it had nice contact of coconut and espresso. Poppy seed cake had been light and fine on palate. The atmosphere is nice cosy.

My family resulted in at Caffè Diem following a long travel on the path to Kuala Perlis. We have been glad we chose Caffè Diem after reading through the reviews about TA. It lived around the reviews and much more. The coconut iced latte is possibly thebest coffee beverage I've ever had. The meals is delicious! Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. They've got every part spot on! We loved our check out so much that people visited again the next week on our in the past home. Even found a t shirt. Definitely recommended if within Alor Setar or the neighborhood area. There is also a bakery nearby which we didn't try. Top tip: get one of these coconut iced latte!
